Camp Use: summer camp and weekend camping

Air conditioned dinning hall. All meals prepared on site.
New camper showers: (new building in 2001) with individual stalls.
Natural lake: crystal clear water, with sandy beach.
Campsitess or platform tents with cots.
Wildlife wetland habitats and observation areas
Campfire ring, showers, available.

Trek mountain bikes
30 ft repelling & climbing tower
COPE high course
Over 40 basic merit badges (plus electives) offered during summer camp.
Great Lakes sailing camp

Water front activities including rope swing, snorkel, sailboards, canoe, sailboat, and
rowing
AWSR provides a Cub camp and a Scout camp on 1200 acres of land.
Camp Chief Little Turtle is strategically located midway between
Chicago, Detroit, and Indianapolis. Near the intersection of
Interstates 80/90 and 69. The drive to camp is on safe, easy to
navigate, 4 lane interstate highways, yet camp is located far from
city and traffic noise. Each campsite is accessible to a troop trailer.
